Levy's 2011-12 NBA Seasons DLC

Can you remember the day NBA2K11 came out and you tried to play it but it got you all frustrated because of the lame default settings? What about all those weeks and months you tried to change the game sliders to avoid all the bugs the game has? I always wanted to fix that but I was just too busy modding the game for some retro seasons that brought back memories from when I watched a much better NBA than it is nowadays.

If you are still in doubt, players in the past had the physical abilities AND the IQ to play basketball at the highest level, not to mention they could play defense when hand-checking was allowed making it 10 times more difficult to score and the whole game more competitive. In other words, Stephen Curry wouldn't have been the same great shooter but his points would have been at least 50% lower 15-20 years ago (turning him into a player not much better than his dad's Dell Curry was in the 90s); or if you want to put it the other way around, sharp shooters from the past would have dominated the game today e.g. Abdul-Rauf would have scored 50 point every game nowadays. That's just crazy if you think about it!

Long story short, to me the original NBA2K11 wasn't playable at all. But now I managed to make the proper adjustments to the gameplay, added a few dozen of players with all their attributes made realistic so there you have it: a brand new realistic game. And not just one season but two: 2010-2011 and 2011-2012! Which comes to the payment. Unlike before, you will get two DLCs for the price of one. :) The Roster files which are 100% my work and basically load the mods are available in exchange for a $10 fee (lunch price in Europe) via PayPal.

As always the biggest part of my job was the gameplay itself. You can find all the adjustments inside the Roster file (.ROS), part of them are related to players skills and tendencies, another part to Coaches Profiles. I managed to make everything run flawless after trying for so long to correct a few 2K Sports bugs like un-guardable player moves ("hopping" and "stepback jump shot") and shots especially the bankshot ("use glass") which players rarely missed. I also chose to eliminate the leaner and drifter shots from the game because they look ugly and unrealistic.

If you want to understand how my version of the game works, you should go to the How To Play The Game link on this blog. There are explanations about the Game Settings, Game (Active Coach Mode) Sliders and the Universal Coach Profile. Using your own settings and sliders will not give the results I intended with my Roster and the in-game formula! When paying for the MOD, you will get all those from me in an email.

In case you're interested in acquiring this mod, send me an email to leeunagi@gmail.com first and then I will provide you with my PayPal account where you can send your payment for this mod. After I cleared your payment, I will send you an email containing the Roster (ROS) file.

This mod features a realistic Roster with:

- Correct team and arena names, logos, jerseys, coaching staff and players
- Complete roster (14-15 players) for each team
- Players with accurate: 1. bio (position, height, age, college, draft pick), 2.  appearance (cyberfaces and portraits , eyes color, muscle & body type), 3. skills (based on 36 minutes stats), 4. tendencies and animations (based on real NBA situations and implemented with a special formula), 5. contract years/salaries
- Personalized arm/legs color, body shape for every coach & player

Installation guide for my roster file:
1. Pay & get the roster file (.ROS) and place it into your NBA 2K11 SAVES folder.
2. Download ALL mod files (.iff, .cdf) from the links I will send you by email and install them into your NBA 2K11 GAME folder.
3. Lastly, start the the game and load the new roster. To do this, go to “Options”, select “Load/save”, and load > “Roster0203″. Go to “Manage Roster” to check if you have successfully updated your NBA 2K11 PC roster.

Feel free to use my email leeunagi@gmail.com in case you have any questions. Of course I will ignore any stupid messages from people who are acting like trolls. So please be more open-minded and ask the right question(s) if you want to hear back from me. And of course, keep 2K11 running and have fun! ;)
